West Berkshire Mencap and the Community Furniture Project are the two joint tenants of the building.
The Community Furniture Project use the building to enable it to provide further help to local people in need by supplying furniture, goods and services at low cost, and also to provide opportunities for people to develop work and social skills

A number of other community organisations working with the socially excluded, many of whom have physical or learning disabilities, have come together to use the Slater Centre office and meeting facilities
Other local community groups are invited to discuss how the Slater Centre facilities could benefit their organisation and clients.
