IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE FREE SHUTTLE BUS BETWEEN NEW GREENHAM PARK AND NEWBURY

November 2008

There have been rumours circulating that the free shuttle bus service that runs between New Greenham Park and Newbury town centre will cease to run in December. Whilst this is not true there will be a change of bus operator at the end of the year and this will result in some slight changes to the service - which should be brought to the attention of those members of staff who currently use the free bus.

From January 2009 the service will be operated by Weavaway Travel – an occupier from the business park.

The service will follow the existing timetable with one important difference – the route will now start and finish its journey at Newbury Railway Station rather than at the bus station. This will be a major advantage to those who also travel by train, particularly from other local railway stations.

These changes will come into effect from the beginning of January 2009.
