Concrete to Common Land
A photographic exhibition at New Greenham Arts
By Andrew Fleming
27th March - 22nd April 2006

A photograph taken by Andrew Flemming at Greenham Common
Through the extensive exploration of Greenham Common, talking to the women who camped outside the former airbase and the locals who supported or opposed their actions, Andrew Fleming hopes to have uncovered and recorded the hidden signs that lurk beneath the surface of the former American cruise missile base.
Before long, these iconic symbols, representing an extremely volatile period of world history, will disappear. Andrew hopes that these photographic images will be a testament for future generations of Greenham Common‘s social and political past.
